#Sharethemicincyber Fellowship Leadership Team Announcement

A short update…..

I am incredibly honored and excited to share that I have been tapped to join the #ShareTheMicInCyber Fellowship LeadershipTeam as an Advisor. As a long time supporter of the initiative, and a proponent of advancing Diversity and Inclusion in the Cybersecurity Industry, I am excited about the opportunity and look forward to working with a phenomenal team and further contributing to this wonderful initiative.

About the #ShareTheMicInCyber Initiative

#ShareTheMicInCyber (#STMIC) is a movement that seeks to enhance diversity and address the challenges raised by systemic racism in the field of cybersecurity. The campaign highlights the experiences of Black practitioners in this field, catalyzes a critical conversation on race in the industry, and shines a light on Black practitioners’ accomplishments to showcase them as experts in their fields, all while creating professional opportunities and bringing the cyber community together. #STMIC and New America Fellowship

The #STMIC Fellowship, hosted in partnership between #ShareTheMicInCyber and New America, provides a platform to raise up under-represented mid-career cybersecurity professionals or those transitioning into cybersecurity. It aims to support new independent research and enhancing projects while also providing opportunities for professional development to further Fellows’ careers in cybersecurity. I have said this before and will say it again. Camille Stewart Gloster, Esq is irreplaceable and I know that I will have big shoes to fill but I am ready for the challenge. I also want to congratulate Camille on her recent White House appointment as Deputy National Cyber Director for Technology and Ecosystem Security. What a wonderful appointment, congratulations Camille!

Thank you for trusting me Camille, Lauren, STMIC and New America team!
